Becky Reed | Chief Executive Officer, Lone Star Credit Union

Becky Reed has more than two decades of experience leading multiple areas in credit unions including retail operations, lending, back-office operations, and IT. She has led game-changing service improvements using technology which landed Lone Star Credit Union the CUNA Technology Council Award for Excellence in Technology in 2019. Becky was also featured on the cover of CU Magazine in the Summer 2020 edition. Continuing to blaze a trail, Lone Star Credit Union launched the first Non-Custodial Crypto Exchange for credit union members in August 2022. In addition, LSCU is piloting the use of Digital ID for onboarding while working with NCUA for clarifying guidance.

She also serves as the President of BlockAdvocates, a non-profit dedicated to Crypto education for Credit Unions. Helping credit unions collaborate and support each other is her passion. In addition to her credit union expertise, Becky is a management coach, mentor, consultant, and published author. Becky graduated Summa Cum Laude from Concordia University in Austin, Texas with a bachelor's degree in business.

Eric Guthrie, ESQ. is a Partner at The Cogent Law Group in Washington, D.C. He is also the President & CEO of Better ME Better WE and Director of Training Programs for the Government Blockchain Association (GBA). As a Blockchain Legal Specialist, Eric is a DC Bar Accredited Trainer and author of "Blockchain or Die: Learn to Profit from Cryptocurrencies and Blockchains" which won several prestigious awards including the 2020 NYC Big Book Award and the 2020 Independent Press Award Distinguished Favorite. He is also the author of "Diversify or Die: Diversity. Inclusion. Evolution. Success." which was a finalist for the 2017 American BookFest – Best Business Book and the 2018 Readers' Choice Awards.

Eric has extensive experience in blockchain enterprise solutions, legal and project management, and is available for public speaking events, training, workshops, panels, and consultations. He has spoken at various conferences and seminars worldwide, including the GBA Blockchain and Infrastructure Conference and the Future of Money, Governance, and the Law.
